A Week In Outfits: November 21-25
Happy first of December! It feels a bit odd to start out a new month by recapping the last but the end of November flew by so here we are. I just finished the #NeutralOrNotNovember styling challenge hosted by @dressing_dawn, and I wanted to share a few more outfits here. I hope this post gives you some outfit inspo if you currently stuck in a winter clothing rut (been there) or if you just want some good ole outfit chats. And let me know if a week in outfits roundup is something you’d like to continue seeing here on the blog.
November 21: Black and Brown
I used to say I don’t wear brown but that’s because I wasn’t a fan of chocolate brown. Nowadays, I go for mossy browns, taupe and a warm chestnut tones. Yep, black and brown is A-Ok in my books. And since I was still living with my Moving Capsule at this time, I borrowed this pair of brown suede boots from my mom’s closet to finish off the look. If you’re currently looking for a pair of chocolate brown suede booties, I found a really similar pair from CC Corso Como that’s consciously-made too!

November 22: Unexpected
In a recent IG styling reel, I styled this amazing VETTA cardigan in 3 looks, one of which included wearing it backwards and you all seemed to love it! The cut of this cardigan works particularly well for this simple styling trick and the results are quite unexpected and fun. I feel like a just got a whole new piece out of my wardrobe. Another cardigan that’s reversible is the Sezane Gaspard, and it has the most darling little buttons.
November 23: Keep It Simple
I feel like I’m always wearing some version of this outfit. If I were a cartoon character, this would be my animated look. It’s simple, it has layers (a must for this hot and cold gal) and it feels comfortable, casual and (dare I say it) cool. In my humble opinion, the key to keeping things simple is to find well-made wardrobe staples and just let them shine on their own.
November 24: Staples
Speaking of staples, here are some of mine: an element of knitwear (yes, all year long), great fitting denim and a some classic shoes. These Sandgrens Dublin Clogs are a style that I’ve always loved. I practically lived in clogs as a wee girl and that love has never wavered. I’m also quite a fan of a mock neck sweater, especially one with a fisherman-style vibe. It’s all about the subtle details in wardrobe staples, material, fit, how classic they feel, that really make them for me.

November 25: Pattern
My favorite pattern, hands-dow, is stripes. I get quite bored of patterns quickly so I generally try to avoid them in my wardrobe. But I can never get enough stripes. They really help to break up all the solid neutral colors in my wardrobe and add some visual interest to my looks. I love how this navy striped Breton-style top looks with my oversized leather biker jacket. To be honest, this look feels quite tough, which was not my original intent, but I think changing out the boots for clogs or dainty flat would really give this outfit a whole different vibe. And if you are in the market for a great pair of ethical chelsea boots, the Duchess boots from Thursday Boots Co. are super similar!

So there you have it, another roundup of weekly outfits. I have one more post of weekly outfits coming soon. The #NeutralOrNotNovember challenge has been so fun to participate in and has really inspired me to share daily outfit inspo. Let me know if this is something you’d like to see as a recurring post here on the blog. It would be quite fun to put together on a regular basis. Let me know in the comments!
