December Playlist
Today I thought I’d do something a little different and share a monthly playlist with you! Recently on Instagram I asked what kind of content you’d like to see more of here on the blog and one suggestion I received was to share more of the music that I’m currently listening to. This is something I occasionally do in my IG stories but I thought it might be fun to compile them all into a music related post here on the blog each month.
While I’d say my musical taste is a bit varied, I do tend to listen to to the same few artists and songs over and over again for extended periods of time. I’ve just recently got back into the habit of creating personal monthly playlists to track all of the songs stuck in my head each day. I think it will be fun to one day look back on these playlists as a nostalgic snapshot in time.
And of course, not everything I’m listening to finds its way onto Spotify. I’m a big Arctic Monkeys fan and I’ve been coming back to the softer acoustic tracks (this playlist in particular) a lot lately while I work. One of my favorites at the moment is an AM cover of Rod McKuen’s The Lovers. Oh and if you’re as big a fan of Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino as I am you may enjoy this album synopsis video that’s very 2020-appropriate.
