While I talk a lot about the clothing in my capsule wardrobe, I don’t often mention the other pieces that make up my uniform day after day. And these pieces are actually quite important because they help to polish off every look, no matter how simple. I always save images on Instagram and Pinterest of my favorite looks. I personally love a more androgynous look for myself, and I’m often attracted to menswear staples such as collared shirts, loafers and of course, a classic gold watch. When I decided to start investing in more high quality pieces, I would reference these photos to see how they would fit into my existing wardrobe and how I could style them. Many of my necklaces are gold vermeil so I always make a point to take them off at night, which becomes a small ritual in itself.
