New Dior Beauty Discoveries
As you may know, I have been collaborating with Dior Beauty Lovers over the past few months and I absolutely love discovering their new products. While I haven’t delved too deeply into luxury makeup and skincare, I am starting to understand the hype. And while I’m all for drugstore makeup and affordable dupes, sometimes the luxury counterpart really is worth it. So today I want to share a few recent discoveries from Dior Beauty that I’ve been loving!
The Magic Concealer
So this first product I am the most excited about because I had literally no expectations for it and it turned out to be the best concealer I’ve ever tried! I have the Dior Forever Skin Correct Concealer in the shade 4W. It’s a creamy, full coverage concealer with 24-hour wear. I wear very little or no makeup day to day but I’m always looking for a good under eye coverage that’s natural enough to wear on its own and this is THE one. It goes on so smoothly, and despite being full coverage, it actually layers quite nicely so you can go for a lighter more natural look as well. They have a good selection of 30 shades and more nuanced selection for darker skin tones as well. I’m still amazed that I found such a perfect skin tone match just from looking at swatches on the website. I’m already looking into trying out the award winning Dior Forever Foundation too!
The Anti-Aging Serum
My mother and grandmother have always taught me the importance of a good skincare routine for anti-aging, and while their brand loyalty lies mostly with Japanese skincare brands, I am still in the process of finding my own routine that works. After trying the Dior Dreamskin Care and Protect serum, which has quickly become a favorite step in the routine, I had high hopes for this Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Serum and I was not disappointed! This serums differs in that its an all around anti-aging serum meant to smooth and firm skin over time but it still has the same light, creamy texture and subtle floral scent that I love.
The Nostalgic Grownup Lipgloss
And last but not least is the Dior Lip Glow Oil in the shade Cherry, which is a totally nostalgic product that brings me back to my lipgloss obsessed days. What I love about this one though is that it’s like the grown up version because it’s actually a lip oil that protects and nourishes your lips while adding a subtle pop of color and major shine. I can’t wait to wear this all spring and summer long to inject some color into my neutral outfits. Dior has some other really interesting products for lip care, including this Lip Sugar Scrub and Lip Glow Hydrating Lip Balm.
