The Feel Good Edit: April
Since it’s the last day of April, I thought I’d do a little round up of everything and anything that’s making me feel good these days. We could all use a little feel good content right now, wouldn’t you agree? I wanted to start this monthly edit to collect all my favorites from the month. So without further ado, here’s what I’ve been enjoying enough to shout about lately!
To Wear
First off, I have to shout about a few brands who’ve recently gifted me some pieces that I’m wearing nonstop. The first being the Norma ribbed turtleneck from sustainable brand, Poplinen that I’m wearing here. The beginning of the month still felt like proper winter mosts days (at least in my apartment) so I was wearing this piece a whole lot. Another one that I was wearing almost every day before the weather got warmer is the Tradlands Shelter cardigan that you’ve seen a lot of on the blog/IG lately. It’s the perfect cozy layer to chuck on. Wondering what’s on my wishlist these days? It’s these gorgeous platform sandals from ATP Atelier.

This month I decided to do one of those “30 Day Music Challenges” on my Instagram stories and reminisce on all the old jams. Kyle also spends a lot of time playing music when he’s home and this month it’s been a lot of Zamrock, Ethiojazz and the usual jazz records like Charlie Parker. Then there’s always some lo-fi hiphop playlist on while I write and today I found this one that’s actually pretty upbeat and then I found this IG Live sesh from James Blake that’s full of cool covers! Some tracks that I’ve discovered this month and have been playing on repeat ever since:
To Watch
This month we finished off the newest season of Terrace House (sad face) and of course I absolutely loved it! If you’ve not watched it yet, it’s basically reality tv but Japanese and a bunch of beautiful young people live together and date and eat delicious food. Oh and there’s a hilarious panel of comedian commentators too, a winning combination. To be honest I don’t do much tv or movie watching, I honestly hate almost everything I do try. To Double Tap
I’ve found some interior IG accounts that I’m absolutely obsessed with lately, namely @reservehome, Mallory’s colorful and light-filled Brooklyn apartment and @livingbylo, Lauren’s gorgeous minimal, art-deco Montreal apartment. Then there’s @thishouse5000, Elena’s natural, cozy home and @carlanatalia_ whose home is full of plants, warm tones and she seems like a lovely person too! On the fashion front, I’ve really been into @jesswithless and her enviable sustainable wardrobe and dress collection.
