10 Of My Favorite Black YouTubers

I’ve so enjoyed sharing some of my favorite creatives across all platforms, so keeping in line with that, today I thought I’d share my 10 favorite Black Youtubers. All of these accounts have been so influential to my own channel’s content and they continue to bring an influx of creativity to my feed every month. So if you’d like to show support for Black creatives and diversify your feed, check out these 10 amazing YouTubers. And for the sake of time, I had to limit this list to 10 but pop your favorites in the comments below!

Mossonyi

There are so many reasons to love Onyi’s channel, from her amazing sense of fashion to the incredible (self-taught) videography skills that she and her husband Craig share. I think I first fell in love with her channel when I discovered her Coffee Diaries series in which she talks candidly about the business of blogging and creative work. That series was such an immense motivation for me when I first started blogging and I want everyone to know about it! Onyi is also close friends with Samio, another awesome creative on the list, and their friendship is so inspiring to me.

jnaydaily

I discovered Janea’s home and interior design channel about a year ago when she was still living in NYC (she’s since relocated to sunny LA) and it instantly became one of my favorites. Her eye for boho, plant-filled interior design is on point but to be honest, I kept coming back to her channel because of her beautiful, bubbly personality and uplifting messages about health and wellbeing. If you’re not following her yet, or if you already follow her awesome Instagram account, then check out her channel and binge all of her feel-good content.

Samio

I remember stumbling across Samio’s channel a few years ago while looking for hair tutorials and found so SO much more. Her chic, minimal style has heavily influenced my own approach to fashion and capsule wardrobes. She is another self-taught photographer whose videos are some of the best I’ve found and she somehow does everything well, from vlogging, styling, home renovation to makeup and travel videos. The amount of work and creativity that goes into each one of her videos is impressive and aspirational. She also has the loveliest personality and outlook on life.

aliviafields

While I’ve followed Alivia on Instagram for a while, I only just discovered her YouTube channel a few months ago, showcasing her intentional lifestyle, love for travel, sustainable fashion and cozy, minimalist interiors. She has so much great content, from sustainable swaps to taking us along on the process of building her first home. I’m such a fan of the distinct aesthetic her channel has, and it gives me the warm and fuzzy wanderlust feels for Northern coast living.

Clothed In Abundance

This is one of my favorite channels that I’ve found more recently. Deb’s economical approach to minimalism, sustainable fashion and wellness is so refreshing to see on this platform. Her channel is just as educational as it is entertaining, with videos like “What is a Capsule Wardrobe in 1 Minute” serving as a great introduction to more intentional living.

The Yusufs

The Yusufs have been a staple of the fashion blogger world for a minute and their amazing style and upbeat personalities make them stand out from the crowd. What can I say, I love a stylist sister duo. The way they put together outfits, often unintentionally coordinating with each other, is just too good. Some of my personal favorite videos of theirs are the thrifting and travel videos.

Kristabel

I’ve read Kristabel’s blog for many years and have always appreciated her honesty around the difficulties she’s faced being a Black fashion blogger in London. And her optimism and candidness about so many aspects of her life is so refreshing to see. Her channel consists of lots of colorful travel videos to places like Oaxaca, Marrakech and Mauritius that give me serious wanderlust.

KarenBritChick

Karen is another one of those people synonymous with the term fashion blogger in my mind. She’s an icon to say the least, and her Youtube channel is especially enjoyable because it allows her personality to really shine through. I love her “What Everyone Is Wearing In New York” series and I feel so lucky every time we get a glimpse into her amazing wardrobe. She’s also shared some more personal videos from the story behind how she met her partner (it’s a good one) to her personal experiences with racism. She’s definitely one to follow if you’re not already!

HouseOfAesthetics

Brittney’s channel speaks for itself: all of the soothing minimalist fashion content your heart could want. I love how relaxing her videos are and her useful tips for creating a minimal wardrobe and finding your style. She also does lots of neutral-themed styling videos and lookbooks. Follow her for all of the fashion and lifestyle aesthetic goals.

The Break Platform

While I love talking about fashion and cute interiors, I also occasionally enjoy watching finance-related content, something I think we could all talk about more. Patricia’s channel (just one of a few she has) is filled with useful money advice from the perspective of a successful Black female entrepreneur and her awesome personality makes it anything but boring.
