As we make our way from Spring into Summer, I wanted to reflect on my most worn items from the past season. I personally love dressing for Spring, it’s my favorite season and provides the perfect opportunity to wear all my beloved knitwear along with sandals, sunglasses and the occasional dress. And while I don’t think I have the patience to do an official “wear count” for everything in my closet, I am hoping to continue doing these roundups at the end of each season, as a way to keep track of which capsule wardrobe pieces are getting the most use.
Orejas Universal Tee
By far, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a basic white tee. One of the best ones I’ve found is the Universal Tee from Orejas, which they kindly gifted me along with the Retro Tee. This one has the perfect billowy cut that looks great tucked into anything. The fabric is my favorite thing it, as it’s a hemp and cotton blend which I can compare to the feel of a linen t-shirt. The texture really elevates it from your standard cotton t-shirt and gives it a more luxe feeling. I’ve worn both of my Orejas tees so much that I’m planning to add a couple more to my collection next time around. If you’re interested, I have a discount code for you listed on my Brand Links page.
Sam Edelman Loraine Loafers
I wore these loafers nonstop from Fall to Spring and they’ve held up wonderfully. They are a great dupe for the Gucci loafers, the design is really slim and not too bulky and the gold details are really minimal compared to others I’ve seen. I prefer a loafer style to a ballet flat at the moment so it’s been my go-to for a closed toe flat and comfortable enough to walk around in for a whole day.

Last Brand Cashmere Crewneck Sweater
While I technically added this to my Winter wardrobe, I still got a ton of use out of it during the Spring months. For those chillier days this was the perfect piece, lightweight so I could wear it on its own and still super warm because cashmere! I love a simple grey sweater because it pairs well with lots of different bottoms. This piece is also sustainably made and one of the best priced ($50!) cashmere sweaters I’ve found and comparable quality to the typically $100 cashmere.
Uniqlo Ribbed Cardigan (similar)
This is a piece of knitwear a bought a while back but really wore a lot this past season. I especially like the look of it buttoned all the way up and worn as a top. Cardigans are really easy to style pieces in general, and particularly useful for those who are always a little bit cold, like myself. But in Spring they really come in handy, when the weather can be a bit unpredictable. I will say that this piece did not hold up well after several washes, as white knitwear tends to start looking a bit dingy and misshapen. So if you’re looking at add a white knit cardigan to your collection I would suggest going for a slightly off-white shade in a slightly sturdier knit or a natural material. While it’s a bit heavier, I’ve been really enjoying the Shelter Cardigan from Tradlands.
Levi’s Wedgie Straight Jeans
I purchased two pairs of these jeans last year, one in a light wash and one in a vintage medium wash (both pictured above), and I can honestly say they have become such a reliable wardrobe staple. I’ve worn the light wash pair the most often day to day in the Spring but the medium wash was in heavy rotation during the Winter months. Levi’s are known for standing the test of time and the same goes for their newer styles too, as these haven’t lost their shape or color at all in the many many times I’ve worn and washed them since purchasing.
