Earrings for the Capsule Wardrobe Enthusiast
The Earring Capsule by Jewels & Aces
A few months ago I was introduced to Jewels & Aces, a WOC-owned sustainable jewelry brand based in Toronto. I was immediately impressed by the versatile designs and craftsmanship. The concept of an Earring Capsule is at once simplistic and completely unique, merging a minimalist and sustainably-minded approach to create some beautiful pieces of jewelry. Today I’m sharing a complete rundown of the pieces I chose for my earring capsule and how I style them, along with a special discount code so you can try it out for yourself!
How It Works
The Earring Capsule takes all the creative possibilities of a capsule wardrobe and applies that to jewelry. Each capsule contains a combination of studs and jackets. The studs can be worn on their own or with the jackets, which slide onto the posts. The jackets can be worn in front of or behind your earlobe and you can layer multiple jackets for even more styling options. Designs range from simple stones and pearls to huggies, chains and hoops, so every capsule is unique and inspires endless looks.
Petite Pearl Studs
Freshwater pearls are a personal favorite of mine. I have a beloved pair of larger pearl studs that I hardly ever reach for because they’re reserved for special occasions in my mind. So I was immediately drawn to the smaller 4mm size of these pearls, making them much more wearable day to day. They feel oh so refined and elegant and make the perfect barely-there accessory.

Emerald Cut Studs
These are the minimal statement stud I never knew I needed. I love the shape of an emerald cut stone and the bit of shine it adds to my outfits. It’s a sophisticated update on the classic stone stud and looks even better paired with the earring jackets. With my shorter hair, I’ve been reaching for more statement earrings as of late but don’t always feel like wearing a heavy hoop. So this sparkly stud has been a great addition that stands so well on its own.

Circle Hoop Ear Jackets
I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received on these. I attribute that to how minimal, yet fun and unique they look paired with both stud options. They add so much interest to my outfits and I especially love how they look worn behind my earlobe. There are some really creatives styling ideas incorporating the circle hoops on the Jewels and Aces website too.

Arc Ear Jackets
The arc shape is another minimal statement-maker that I’ve had so much fun experimenting with. I personally love how they look paired with the geometric shape of the emerald cut studs. The shape is something you don’t see everyday so it adds an understated element of interest to casual outfits and occasion wear alike.

Curating Your Capsule
Jewels and Aces has made it super easy to create your own set. When creating your custom capsule you can choose two pairs of studs and two jackets for the most versatility. And if you’re easily overwhelmed by options (as I often am) you can also choose from several curated sets with all the essential styles. A fab sustainable blogger, Style Bee has even created a capsule in collaboration with the brand.
My Impressions
My earring capsule arrived quickly and safely in a lovely storage box. After a few months of normal wear, I’m very happy with the quality of these pieces. I’m also having a lot of fun deciding which combination to wear each day. One thing that’s made me even more excited lately is the possibility of asymmetrical styling. This is especially useful with multiple piercings, as many of the styles look amazing when layered on. All in all, I cannot recommend the Earring Capsule enough. They’re quality, sustainably-made pieces that give you endless styling options.
