Where To Stay In Cape Town: NOAH House
A Hidden Gem in Tamboerskloof
I recently checked into NOAH House for a relaxing evening during my stay in Cape Town, South Africa. This Victorian home turned boutique hotel is tucked away on a quiet street in the beautiful Tamboerskloof neighborhood. The modern, minimalist interiors and attention to detail gives it all the comfort of home away from home.
The Best of Both Worlds
I’m always looking for inspiring spaces when I travel, but what set this place apart for me was the hospitality of the hosts. NOAH House is run by a Dutch couple, who currently reside in the downstairs area. They’ve managed to combine all the warmth and charm of a bed and breakfast with the sleek intentionality of a boutique hotel experience.
Breakfast at the Cafe
NOAH Cafe provides on-site coffee and locally-sourced breakfast and brunch bites, ideal for slow mornings on the sun-drenched patio. The central location is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on trendy Kloof Street, making it a great home base to explore like a local. Whether you’re looking for a serene weekend staycation or visiting the city for the first time, I can’t recommend NOAH House enough.
