Holiday Talk & Looking Ahead

Despite the fact that we are experiencing a heatwave here in Southern CA at the moment, it seems like the year is rapidly winding down and I can’t help but feel a little excited for the holidays already.
This year I have plans to head home to Atlanta to spend a good chunk of time with my family for Christmas - 10 days in fact! This is a lot longer of a break than I had originally thought I would take but that’s just how its turned out and I’m really looking forward to it. Although that will mean time away from my boyfriend but it’s give and take when your loved ones are split on opposite coasts.
It’s also late enough in the year that I’m starting to think about how I want next year to look work-wise as well. I’m already starting to think about goals for next year. And I hope to write more blog posts about goal-setting and staying organized with side/ passion projects - if that’s something you’d like to see more of.
This year has been so great in terms of understanding out what type of content I enjoy creating and I’m hoping to sort of fine tune that next year. I’ve been able to achieve some goals and even set new ones half way through the year and I’m hoping to keep that momentum going into 2020. Although I do realize its a bit early to be reflecting on 2019 just yet!
So what are you looking forward to as the year winds down? Some of you are fully enjoying the change in seasons already and I can’t hep but feel a bit jealous of all the cozy sweaters and hot coffees I’m seeing on the gram. But for now I will try to continue enjoying wearing shorts and sandals for the foreseeable future (in true California fashion) as I count down to the holidays! xx Jessica
