10 Days in Outfits
Today is the 10th and last day of the Faux Fall 10x10 challenge on Instagram (follow me) and it has been so much fun! This was my first clothing challenge and it was a joy to be able to work key pieces of my capsule wardrobe into 10 versatile outfits. The idea behind the challenge was to create outfits that felt autumnal but that could also be worn through the extended summer weather we’re having here in Southern California.
The most fun part of this challenge was seeing just how well my capsule wardrobe basics, and a few more fun pieces, could work together and I have to say, I am pretty pleased with the results. Shoes, bags and outerwear were not included which made things a bit easier too, but I pretty much stuck with my two favorite pairs of shoes and one piece of outerwear that I didn’t really even need. I ended up using five handbags, partially because a new bag that I purchased was delivered halfway through the challenge and I just couldn’t wait to use it!
