The Dress For Transitional Seasons

Midi length dresses are one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. They are the only thing I like wearing more than straight leg jeans and something that is so versatile and easy to wear all year round. And there’s no more appropriate season to wear midi dresses than in the transitional periods of late summer/ early spring. So today I thought I’d share a few of my favorite midi dresses and some key pieces for styling them.

My favorite way to style this piece is with some easy brown leather slides and a mini bag in the summer or with a pair of boots and a longline coat in the winter. I love playing with the the long cut of this dress and I really can’t think of anything more chic and Pre-Fall than a midi dress peaking out from under a long trench coat. But alas, it’s still bright and sunny here in San Diego on the daily so I don’t want to get ahead of myself. So that’s all for today, just a short and sweet post.
