May Playlist
Happy May! We’ve had rain and thunderstorms here for the past two days so I’ve been cocooned away in my room working and listening to all the cozy tunes. My playlist this month is the usual mix of dancey electronic and softer acoustic songs for when I’m in my feels.
I’ve also had this Kali Uchis song on repeat literally every day since I found it, like everyone else and their mother. As for this month’s new-to-me music discoveries I’m really loving the sun-drenched electro-pop of Polo & Pan (for fans of Poolside), the disco-esque house sounds of Hercules & Love Affair and dreamiest bedroom pop duo DRAMA.
I also just discovered hyperpop through a new song from one of my favorite artists at the moment LoveLeo. Can’t say I’m really a fan of the genre, that I can only think to describe as early oughties-inspired TikTok music, but I find it pretty interesting nevertheless.
